Methods of Noise Prevention by the Sealing Technology of Angular Contact Ball Bearings
2019-02-16Angular Contact Ball Bearings can withstand both radial and axial loads simultaneously. They can operate at relatively high rotational speeds. The greater the contact angle, the higher the axial load-carrying capacity. The contact angle is the angle between the line connecting the contact points of the ball and the raceway in the radial plane and the perpendicular line of the bearing axis. High-precision and high-speed bearings usually have a contact angle of 15 degrees. Under the action of axial force, the contact angle will increase. The models include: 7412BCBM, 7310-B-XL-TVP-UO, 7326BDB5, HSS71920-E-T-P4S-UL, 7032A5TSULP4, etc.
Reasons and Prevention Methods of Corrosion of angular contact ball bearings
The corrosion of rolling bearings is caused by various internal and external factors. Summarized, they mainly include:
1. The surface finish of the metal (oxygen concentration difference cell corrosion).
2. The chemical composition and structure of the metal material itself.
3. The composition of the solution in contact with the metal surface and its pH value.
4. The ambient temperature and humidity.
5. Various environmental media in contact with the metal surface.
6. In addition, human sweat is also a cause of corrosion of angular contact ball bearings, and its pH value is between 5 and 6. Therefore, in order to prevent rust caused by hand sweat, installers and production personnel should wear gloves and avoid touching angular contact ball bearings with their hands casually.
Applying Antirust Oil to Prevent Rolling Bearings from Rusting
1. Immersion method: For miniature rolling bearings, they are immersed in antirust grease. The thickness of the oil film can be achieved by controlling the temperature or viscosity of the antirust grease. This is a method to make an antirust grease layer adhere to their surface.
2. Brushing method: When brushing, pay attention to applying it evenly on the surface of the rolling bearing. Avoid accumulation and also be careful to prevent missing spots.
3. Spraying method: Some large antirust items are not suitable for oiling by the immersion method. Generally, filtered compressed air with a pressure of about 0.7 Mpa is used for spraying in a clean air environment. The spraying method is suitable for solvent-diluted antirust oil or thin-film antirust oil. This method must be accompanied by complete fire prevention and labor protection measures.
