Brief Description of the Code Composition of Slewing Bearings
Code Designation of Slewing Bearings
Code composition: The slewing bearing code consists of a basic code and a supplementary suffix code.
Composition of the Basic Code
The basic code is divided into three parts:
- The front part indicates the structure type and drive type code;
- The middle part indicates the diameter of the rolling element (for slewing bearings with two or more rows of rolling elements, it refers to the diameter of the largest rolling element);
- The rear part indicates the pitch circle diameter of the rolling element (for slewing bearings with two or more rows of rolling elements, it refers to the pitch circle diameter of the largest rolling element).
1. Rules for Structure Type Codes
- 01: Four-point contact ball bearing
- 02: Double-row different-diameter ball bearing
- 11: Crossed cylindrical roller bearing
- 13: Three-row cylindrical roller combined bearing
2. Rules for Drive Type Codes
- 0: Non-toothed type
- 1: External involute cylindrical gear with small module
- 2: External involute cylindrical gear with large module
- 3: Internal involute cylindrical gear with small module
- 4: Internal involute cylindrical gear with large module

3. Basic Code Formulating Rules
When arranging the basic code, the structure type code and drive type code are written consecutively. The front, middle and rear parts are separated by a dot ".".
