Inch tapered roller bearing precision tolerance grade standard
2016-11-11Inch tapered roller bearings refer to tapered roller bearings whose dimensions are measured in inches. The tolerance grade of inch tapered roller bearings is also independent and completely different from the tolerance of metric tapered roller bearings. For example, the tolerances of the inner diameter and outer diameter of inch tapered roller bearings are positive, while the tolerances of the inner diameter and outer diameter of metric tapered roller bearings are negative, and so on.
1. The tolerance grades of TIMKEN inch tapered roller bearings are divided into 4, 2, 3, 0, and 00 grades, and the accuracy is from low to high. The tolerance grades of TIMKEN metric and ISO/DIN standards are compared in the following table.
2. Inch tapered roller bearings can be manufactured to 6 tolerance levels, but levels 4 and 2 are commonly used and are generally referred to as "standard" levels. Level 2 has certain more precisely controlled tolerances than level 4, so it may be more required in specific applications. 3, 0, 00, 000 is a precision level.
