What bearings are needed on forklifts

There are many types of bearings used on forklifts. Here are some common forklift bearing types and their application areas:

  1. Forklift front axle chassis: wheel hub bearings may use angular contact ball bearings or deep groove ball bearings, tapered roller bearings; suspension may use thrust ball bearings, thrust needle roller bearings;.
  2. Forklift engine system: tensioner and idler parts may use seated ball bearings, deep groove ball bearings, tapered roller bearings; clutch release bearings are generally ball bearings; water pump bearings are usually double-row roller bearings, etc.
  3. Forklift gearbox system: needle roller bearings and tapered roller bearings are commonly used.
  4. Other parts such as forklift masts and bodies: mast bearings, side roller bearings, etc.

The model and size of forklift mast bearings vary depending on the brand, model and specification of the forklift. Some common forklift mast bearing model size examples are as follows:

6204-2rs1: inner diameter 20mm, outer diameter 47mm, width 14mm;

6305ddu: inner diameter 25mm, outer diameter 62mm, width 17mm;

6006-2rsr: inner diameter 30mm, outer diameter 55mm, width 13mm;

6202: inner diameter 15mm, outer diameter 35mm, width 11mm;

30205: inner diameter 25mm, outer diameter 52mm, width 16.25mm.

In actual applications, the appropriate bearing model and size should be determined according to the specific forklift model and specifications. When selecting bearings, factors such as the bearing's load capacity, working environment conditions (such as temperature, humidity, dust, vibration, etc.), brand and quality should also be considered. Bearings from well-known brands are usually more guaranteed in terms of quality and reliability, and can provide better after-sales service. At the same time, when installing and using bearings, pay attention to keeping them clean, avoid strong stamping and knocking, use appropriate installation tools, and take anti-rust measures.
