What is a 6005 2RS Ceramic Bearing?

The 6005 2RS is a ceramic deep groove ball bearing that uses ceramic materials (such as Silicon Nitride Si₃N₄, Zirconium Oxide ZrO₂, or Silicon Carbide SiC) as the rolling elements. The "6005" in the model number represents the bearing's size and type, with an inner diameter of 25mm, an outer diameter of 47mm, and a width of 12mm. The "2RS" indicates that the bearing has rubber seals on both sides, which effectively prevent the intrusion of dirt and moisture, protecting the bearing's internal components from external environmental factors and ensuring long-term stable operation.

Unlike traditional steel ball bearings, the 6005 2RS ceramic deep groove ball bearing uses ceramic balls, which provide higher performance and longer service life.
